Ludopolis Festival

In 2010 I've imagined a new project that was missing in Portugal. Ludopolis was projected as a city of fun, full of games and hobbies for all public and ages. Initially it was programed to take place in September 2011, but the exigence of the Festival delayed it to June 2012.

Ludopolis Festival happened in Jardim Tropical (Tropical Garden) in Belém, Lisbon, days 14, 15, 16 and 17 June. The initial idea has grown and it is expected that the event will mark the game scene in Portugal.

Within the Festival a Game Design Contest was released. The first edition of Ludopolis International Game Design Contest has seen 78 validated games, from 10 different countries. As the organizer I thank all of the participants that have submitted games. All of this is made for true passion, so I am gratefull for everyone who has envolved themselves both in the Festival and in the Contest.
